3X.SA is a single-axis angle sensor for 0–360° measurement in vertical mounting. With 0.01° resolution, ±0.1° accuracy and CANopen output, it is designed for turret rotation, boom angle and slew axis monitoring applications. IP67 protected stainless aluminum enclosure suits harsh field conditions.

Technical Details
3X.SA is the vertical single-axis angle sensor in the Avioni 3X family. It measures rotation angle (0–360°) only, without X-Y tilt. It offers a more focused, compact solution than 3X.MA or 3X.DA for applications requiring turret rotation, slew angle, boom rotation or vertical-axis angle monitoring.
Single-Axis Angle Measurement (Z)
3X.SA provides 0–360° single-axis angle measurement in vertical mounting. Range configurable as 0–360° or -180° .. +180° via CAN. Direction clockwise or counter-clockwise. Resolution 0.01° (0.00° – 359.99°), reducible to 0.1° via CAN. Accuracy ±0.1°.
Signal Processing and Filtering
Moving average and Kalman filters against vibration, wind and mechanical play. Stable, repeatable angle data to ECU, HMI or LMI software; minimises false limit triggers.
CANopen Communication
Node-ID 1–127 (default: 1). Baud rate 20 kbps – 1 Mbps (default: 250 kbps). Message period 10–1000 ms (default: 100 ms). Heartbeat 0x700 + Node-ID. Optional redundancy for safety-critical use.
Mechanical and Electrical Features
Stainless aluminum housing with polyurethane fill. IP67. -40 °C to +85 °C. 8–35 V DC with full protection. M12 4 or 5-pin connector.
3X Product Family
3X.SA: vertical single-axis angle only. 3X.DA: horizontal dual-axis tilt only. 3X.MA: both combined. 3X.SA is ideal when only rotation/angle monitoring is needed.
System Integration
Integrates with Avioni ECUs, HMIs and LMI software. Can form the angle component of complete LMI with ALX draw-wire sensors (with integrated angle) or PL1000 load cells. Commissioning via Javelin Suite.
