AVD.043 is a 4.3″ programmable CANbus/J1939 HMI operator display for mobile machinery and vehicles with compact cabs. Technical Details
AVD.043 is the 4.3-inch compact model in the Avioni AVD operator display family. It is used as a primary or auxiliary operator display on cranes with tight cabs, mini aerial platforms, construction machinery, forklifts and special-purpose vehicles. Hardware, software and CAN communication developed end-to-end by Avioni enable direct integration with ECUs, sensors and control software.
Display and Ergonomics
The 4.3″ TFT panel offers 480×272 pixel resolution. The resistive touchscreen provides reliable touch response with gloves and in field conditions. Compact dimensions allow mounting on joystick consoles, side panels and shallow-depth cab dashboards. Panel, mobile and vehicle mounting options suit different cab architectures.
Processing and Programmability
720 MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 512 MB DDR3 RAM and 4 GB eMMC flash delivers smooth UI and sufficient application space. Display software is fully programmable for machine-specific gauges, alarms, graphics and workflows. Multilingual support and right-to-left text options adapt to different markets.
CANbus Communication
AVD.043 supports SAE J1939 and CANopen over CAN 2.0B. It communicates on the same network with Avioni ECUs, sensors (ALX, 3X, PL1000), joysticks and third-party CAN devices. CAN data is displayed live; operator commands and parameter settings are transmitted over CAN.
Event Logging and Peripherals
Built-in event and alarm logger (black-box) records limit exceedances, fault codes and operator actions with date/time stamps. Log data can be exported via USB and SD card. USB and IP camera support enables rear-view and surround monitoring. RS232, RS485 and RS422 serial ports allow external device integration. Printer and scanner support suits field reporting scenarios.

AVD.043 is the compact operator side of the Avioni control ecosystem. It works with C24/C48/C72 ECUs, LMI software, iLoader weighing systems and Javelin Suite engineering tools. Display software updates, parameter configuration and functional tests can be performed via Javelin Suite.
