In-depth Analysis
The Avioni AV.LMI.AWP control system provides full CAN Bus integration for aerial work platforms and firefighting vehicles. All hydraulic and electrical components — boom, cage, turret, outriggers, engine and water systems — are managed by a single ECU with independent firmware modules communicating over a dual CANopen / J1939 bus.
The working envelope adjusts dynamically based on outrigger extension. Speed is modulated by both load and wind conditions. The cage levels automatically and triggers warning or shutdown at ±10° deviation. A 3D anticollision system using geometric and ultrasonic sensors protects the cage throughout the full operating range. Water pump, water monitor and power-pack management are included as standard. Wireless GSM diagnostics are available as an option.
